Diary of an Econ Student
The struggle is real… and so are the graphs.
Running since September 2025.
What the hell is it?
Well, it’s simple. After spending more and more time buried in economics — lectures, papers, datasets — I realised I had no outlet to use all that knowledge in an entertaining, useful, and maybe even a little thought-provoking way.
The turning point was my bachelor’s thesis, my first big project, when I discovered I actually enjoy writing about economics (shocking, I know). And here we are.
If you’re looking for commentary from a Nobel laureate, you’re in the wrong place. If you want polished insights from a tenured professor, also not here.
What you will find are the notes of a student currently pursuing a master’s in Economic Research — a mix of thoughts on mostly macroeconomic topics, condensed versions of my academic papers (a fancy way of saying home assignments), and ideas sparked by books, articles, and data I stumble across.
So, sit back, scroll through, and enjoy.
